Last year our ROC membership rates were £12 for SWL (Not
licensed) and £24 for FULL membership.
From 6th February 2023, the rates shall be held at £12 for SWL and
£24 for FULL membership. However £2 from all NEW SWL fees and
£4 from all NEW FULL membership fees will be donated to
MCBARG.
ROC Committee has agreed with Mid Cornwall Beacon &
Repeater Group (MCBARG) to make an agreed donation from our
future club membership fees towards the upkeep and running of
their beacons and repeaters in Cornwall. ROC committee feel
support should be offered to all who help contribute to the radio
community within Cornwall and also urge you to join as individual
members of the repeater group.
Existing members when renewing their membership for 2023 will
be given the choice to opt out of paying the donation to MCBARG,
thus allowing a lower membership rate of £10 for SWLs or £20 for
FULL members.
This agreement was proposed to the repeater group at their recent
AGM and has since been unanimously accepted by the repeater
group committee. The MCBARG committee would like to reiterate
that this agreed donation is on behalf of ROC and it’s members and
in no way qualifies as individual membership of MCBARG.
All other membership levels shall remain the same and as always
each individual application is judged upon its own merits and is at
the discretion of the committee. Cost should not exclude any
person wishing to join.
ROC will review membership rates and donations each year.
Renewal emails will be sent out soon.
New 2023 ROC pin badges will be issued to all renewing members along with stickers, 2023 certificate and club discounts
